It's a boy!

Those are the words I NEVER thought I would hear. I still can't believe that I have a son...but it is wonderful!

He arrived at 3:15PM on Tuesday, January 26th!

8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long!

He has had lots of visitors and is such a good boy.

Amelia is really taking to him. In fact, today she actually asked to hold him. It was so sweet :) She's going to take great care of him as his big sister.

We are just enjoying him so much!

Cookie Time with Grandma

This past week, while we were driving, Amelia very clearly said that she "wanted to go make cookies with Grandma!" So...yesterday morning, that's exactly what we did!

Yes - we had a change of clothes for her! Haha!!

Potty-Time

This morning was the first morning that Amelia told me she needed a new diaper BEFORE she actually went. And then - to top it all off - she was able to hold it on the way to the potty! And then she actually did it! She went pee pee in the potty!!!! Hooray!

Now...this next baby is due anytime now, so I think Amelia is just testing us on the timing of this. But good thing Honey will be here, and I'm just SURE she's an expert in potty training so I will gladly pass it onto her! HAHAHA!

Getting ready

With only a few weeks to go until baby #2 is here...we are in full-on set-up mode! The nursery is almost finished...just have to hang a few pictures. We went to Babies R Us today and got our last few essentials, so now it's just a waiting game. Oh, that and we have to pick names out. That is the hardest part about not finding out if we're having a boy or a girl. We have to come up with 2 names! We're getting closer, but still have brainstorming to do. Any ideas are welcome!
