Splash Park

We made plans with Amelia's cousins to go to the SplashPark last week - and even though a monster storm came through the night before - we were determined to go. It was a nice, clear (and slightly COLD) morning, but we were sure it would warm up. Well, it didn't. And right when the girls were in the middle of FUN we had to bundle them up and leave because we saw another storm rolling in. There was lots of screaming and protesting on Amelia's part...but I couldn't really blame her :(

It was so funny. Amelia and I got there first and all she saw was the "regular" part of the park. She was happy climbing stairs and sliding...then anther parent at the park turned on the WATER! Amelia got SOOOOOOOO excited and just ran right towards it with her clothes still on over her swim suit! I had to chase her down and rip them off before she got in there. She was loving it! Just smiling and laughing and running around with the big kids!
